I've only had dim sum here . We like to come here due to the plentiful seating and big round tables available for larger groups. We mostly come on Sunday's and they are busy from morning to afternoon. For those that do not know, dim sum is a Chinese version of small plates. They are served in a small, round, metal steamer type of bowl. There are many types of food offered from chicken feet to small pork ribs and tripe. Another small plate that is offered is Chinese broccoli and the salt baked shrimp and salt baked squid. This is really ethnic food that you will love if you enjoy Chinese dishes. Staff is very friendly and kind. Today my only complaint is I had to request the chili oil 3 times. We mix the chili oil with soy sauce to dip with all the dim sum dishes, it's delicious and the only way to eat it!

I have been here several times and they have pretty good food for a good price. The lunch specials are affordable and fill you up nicely. Most of the selections are great but a few items are a bit bland. The fried rice could have a bit more flavor and the chicken lo-mein is rather bland. The owner seems to have no personality and I cant tell if he is mad all the time or just bored. Overall, I like this place and will be back more.

The Restaurant is nicely decorated very clean and the staff is very quick on request with a smile. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan with Ham Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup. The Egg Drop soup reminded me of Chicken Noodle Soup with some eggs in it. Would not order again. However, the Moo Goo Gai Pan was on point! Perfect portions veggies cut in small enough pieces lots of Ham in the Fried Rice. One thing that stood out is the portions of meat in every meal. Well done.. Over I would give this place 3 stars but then again I'm from San Diego California and our asian food is just on a higher playing field. Overall I would come back just order a different soup.

This place looks pretty new, restaurant is clean and decorated ok. The food is pretty good for the price. We ordered a combo type meal with rice chicken and egg roll for about 7 bucks. The only real complaint for me is the service. Started out ok, took our order quick and food came out pretty fast. The guy delivering the food was rude, slamming food on the table as he rushed by, not saying anything or refilling our waters until we finally asked for it. It's mostly about the service for me.

Love this place. I always get either the beef lo mein or the pork lo mein. So delish! And the combo plate comes with ham fried rice and an egg roll :) would give this place 5 stars but, I have one complaint. My wife is a vegetarian so she always tries to order her combination plate with veggie fried rice instead of ham fried rice and they always refuse, saying she has to buy an entire order of vegetable fried rice. Which is like $6 and she still wouldn't get an egg roll. Sorry that's kind of ridiculous. She should be able to simply substitute the ham fried rice that comes with a combination plate for vegetable fried rice. But, other than that, this place is perfect :)

I love the Cashew chicken here. The food is always HOT and the service fast. I've read some reviews saying the owner is rude, I've been going here for several years and would more accurately discribe his style as "all business". If you're looking for friendly chit-chat, this won't be your scene. But if you're wanting some great chinese food in a clean resturant at a reasonable price, New Dragon fits the bill!

I come here almost weekly! The owner and his wife can come off cold at first but once you become a familiar face, they're very friendly. Always delicious food! Kung pao chicken, sesame chicken or beef, chicken chow mein, chicken lo mein are some favorites but I've never been disappointed!

Lunch for two. There are no combos that come with soup, which is disappointing, so we ordered a bowl of hot and sour for $4.50. Glad we did, as it was quite good. There was enough for five people. I ordered Beef with Peppers and Tomato, which came with ham fried rice and an egg roll for $5.99. Enough food for two, easily. My sister got the Chicken with Garlic Sauce, which came with steamed rice, for $7.95. Oddly, the amount of food was about the same on both, despite the price difference. Both dishes featured plenty of fresh meat and veggies. The taste was good, but lacked much depth. Overall, though, for the price you get a ton of food that ain't bad at all. The owner himself served us, and was quite attentive and pleasant.

We love this place. It's become our go-to Chinese place. You can't beat the price for the portion sizes you get. Not the highest quality, but always hot and fresh.

2 stars because they had my food ready fast. Ordered Orange chicken combination Beef and broccoli combination Sweet and sour pork combination. All were awful. The sweet and sour sauce was good, but the pork had a weird flavor and the breaking was soggy. The "Orange chicken" was really sesame chicken. They are not the same. Taste was awful and soggy as well. Beef and broccoli was odd. Like the use their own recipe with stroganoff or something. They do not deliver. I won't be going back.

Been coming here for years! the food is wonderful! I'm super picky about my food, especially my meat and I've never been served anything less than top quality. They use white meat chicken for their food. Their combination plates come with ham fried rice an egg roll and your main dish. You get tons of food for the price! Great Chinese food!

As a starting note, their food quality has gotten worse over their years of business. I do have to say they have some of the best hot and sour soup I have had. But it seems everything else on the menu is starting to taste like everything else. As for the service, the fellow that owns the place is just plain rude. When you walk in he barely acknowledges you. If you do sit down to eat he comes to your table and says "what you want?" Very rudely and abruptly. It's okay for a quick fix. Prices aren't horrible. Food could improve back to what it used to be. Owner could use some lessons in courtesy and customer service.

Got the sweet and sour chicken combo and moo goo gai pan. Sweet and sour chicken was drenched in sauce but the moo goo gai pan was pretty good. Combine action comes with ham fried rice and a egg roll all for 5.99. Those two plates plus a drink came out to around $14 so can't really beat the price. It's a good go to for cheap Chinese I guess

Mediocre at best. I had the vegetable lo mein. Not much flavor. My date's sesame chicken looked like breaded pork rind... The cream cheese wontons were yummy. Not authentic in the slightest. Relatively cheap. Also, they played the SAME synthesized cheesy song over and over and over again.

Underwhelming to say the least. This place falls into the category of Americanized Chinese food. The food was not bad but it wasn't very interesting either. The egg drop soup with basically chicken noodle soup with some scrambled eggs floating in it. The sweet and sour sauce was thin and runny and my ginger beef in oyster sauce was a one note dish. The one saving grace of my beef was it was loaded with many crunchy vegetables. I have come to terms with the fact that most Chinese food in Salt Lake City is sub-par, with some very notable exceptions, but i was not expecting how awful the service was at this place. The woman who served us was nice enough but she did not speak much English and didn't bother to ensure she understood what we were ordering which lead to soups we didn't want and didn't order. After the woman took our order, we never saw her again. The man who brought our food and refilled our drinks, after we were forced to pull him to our table to do so, was unpleasant. He appeared irritated by the fact that he had to bring us our food or interact with us in any way.
